Radio Reload by VENDETTA TELEVISION is a grungey, 90s, rock track that transports you back to that angsty vintage world. There is a sense of emotional turmoil at the core of the song’s identity. The guitars do an excellent job at establishing that tone, with these aching and twisting layers that flow over one another. The discordant fuzz of distortion in one of the guitar elements stands out the most. It captures the 90s era and that melancholic tone in an unmistakable way.

The track reminds me a little of Radiohead’s early work with the layers of guitars and a varied vocal performance. The voice shines in certain moments and allows the guitars to take centre stage in others. This variety keeps the sound evolving. In the quiet moments, the subtleties of the vocal becomes more apparent and the song really comes into its own. I’m impressed by the commitment and respect to the nineties grunge vision and I’m excited to see where they go next!
