As we get to the chorus the voice opens up. With a more expressive vocal delivery and the use of excellent harmonies, the track truly comes into its own here, expressing the bold courage associated with moving on from a breakup. The harmonies explore the higher and lower end of the track’s melodic register. Together, they establish this wave of sound that immerses the listener into the music as it passes. As a listener, it was cathartic to hear the track reach its full potential in front of me.
